July - August 2002
August marked our last month in Manila. We had the treat of having Sonia's parents come and visit us.
Unfortunately, it was rainy season so they witnessed the extreme rains and floods of Manila! We even drove through a few ourselves.
The section Martin worked in - ACS (American Citizen Services) threw him a despedida at the Tia Maria's restaurant in Malate, Manila.
Their attempts at embarassing Martin proved to be too difficult to do, since he does that so well without any help.
Our friends, Mike and Noi, were kind enough to host a despedida for us at their amazing apartment at Fort Bonifacio...
