Mercy and her family live in the "barangay" of Tondol.  A barangay is basically a subset of a town - probably akin to a borough.  The photo on the left is the family "yard."  Just beyond the trees is a wonderful beach, where the second photo was taken.  The last photo shows how far away they were from the shore - it was wonderfully shallow!  Luna loved walking the whole way - she would've kept walking into the open sea if we didn't stop her.  And the water felt like warm bath water.  It was fantastic.
